As a Software Team Lead, you’ll take ownership of the critical first 7-day experience for new players, shaping how millions engage with the product from day one. You’ll lead a high-performing, cross-functional team focused on making every player’s first session seamless, exciting, and memorable. RESPONSIBILITIES
Guide a multidisciplinary team in designing and refining the early player moments
Take charge of building a strong team dynamic — from recruitment to ongoing development
Partner with product managers, analysts, and designers to align goals and deliver impactful features
Design backend solutions that are both scalable and resilient, tailored to support new player experiences
Drive a fast-moving, feedback-driven development cycle with clear roles and outcomes
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 7 years of hands-on software development experience, with a focus on backend systems
At least 2 years in a technical leadership role, overseeing cross-functional collaboration
Deep understanding of high-load, real-time systems and experience optimising them for scale
Practical knowledge of cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS) and distributed architecture patterns
Solid programming expertise in Node.js, with a working understanding of C# (especially in Unity environments)
Degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline
Strong command of English, with the ability to communicate clearly in both written and spoken form
