RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, implement and support audio systems, incorporating sound design, music and vo.
Responsible for the technical sound design – plan, execution, structure, organization and optimization within the project and in Wwise.
Work alongside programmers and sound designers to develop features and systems.
Define, apply, and educate best practices of technical audio systems, workflows and tools usage within the Audio Team.
Help the Audio Team solve technical problems and fix bugs.
REQUIREMENTS
At least 5 years experience as Technical Sound Designer for video games (or demonstration of technical skill in an audio development role).
Technical experience with building and implementing audio systems in game environment,
Experience with Unreal Engine and its components (e.g. scripting, level editor, Sequencer editors, animation);
Excellent communication skills: ability to effectively demonstrate game logic flow, systems design, and debugging strategies.
Excellent implementation techniques within audio middleware (Wwise).
Proficient with implementation using visual scripting systems (blueprints).
Experience working with game development teams such as animation, level design, gameplay, cinematics, etc..
NICE TO HAVE
At least one shipped AAA game
Experience with Reaper customization, ReaScript and extensions.
Familiarity with automation tools and command line environments.
Experience with audio programming.
