Senior Sound Designer

Description

Step into a key creative role where your sound design will shape the emotional heartbeat of the game. From subtle ambient details to high-impact FX, you’ll craft audio that deepens immersion, drives storytelling, and makes every moment feel unforgettable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, edit, and polish high-quality sound effects using industry-standard tools and techniques.
  • Implement audio assets into the game via internal pipelines, tools, and proprietary systems.
  • Work closely with the Audio Team to support and deliver on the project’s narrative goals.
  • Partner with technical sound designers and fellow sound designers to build and refine audio systems that serve both creative direction and gameplay needs.
  • Collaborate with non-audio departments (design, animation, cinematics, programming, etc.) to ensure a cohesive and impactful in-game audio experience.
  • Promote strong teamwork, knowledge-sharing, and cross-department collaboration inside and outside the Audio Team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 5 years of professional game audio experience.
  • Shipped at least one AAA title, or contributed to a project of similar scope in linear media, having seen it through a full development cycle.
  • Outstanding sound design capabilities with a strong creative edge.
  • Proficiency in your DAW of choice, along with familiarity with industry-standard plugins and tools (iZotope, Waves, FabFilter, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with audio middleware (especially Wwise).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Perforce).
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly convey ideas.
  • Confidence in prioritizing tasks, owning specific audio areas, and delivering independently as well as in a team setting.
  • A proactive mindset, positive attitude, and solid work ethic.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience working with Unreal Engine and Blueprints.
  • Practical knowledge of recording equipment, microphones, and field/studio recording techniques.
  • Understanding of audio signal flow, DSP, mixing, sample rates, codecs, filters, reverbs, and 3D spatial audio.
  • Familiarity with technical mix requirements across different media formats (console, streaming, broadcast, etc.).
  • Knowledge of next-gen console audio systems and their capabilities.
  • Experience implementing audio for multiple platforms
