Our client is looking for a Game Developer to join the team responsible for building an interface used to control and monitor autonomous heavy machines in a more interactive and game-like way. This role combines game development, real-time 3D visualization, and spatial UI work. The selected person will collaborate closely with game designers, UX/UI designers, C++ developers, cloud/web engineers, robotics teams, and field application specialists to create reliable, fast, and user-friendly interfaces for real-world autonomous systems. It is a great opportunity for someone who wants to apply game development experience beyond entertainment.
Responsibilities
Implement 3D digital twins and real-time spatial user interfaces that accurately reflect live machine states with low latency.
Work on complex rendering and geometry challenges, including level of detail, real-time interaction, and performance under technical constraints.
Build end-to-end features in collaboration with game designers, UX/UI designers, C++ developers, cloud engineers, and robotics teams.
Write and maintain unit tests and validation pipelines.
Audit, refactor, and improve the existing architecture.
Partner closely with robotics and field application teams to ensure the product works reliably in real-world conditions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience in game development, including work on in-game HUDs and/or GUIs in Unreal Engine or Unity.
Experience writing production-quality C++ code.
Completed coursework or hands-on projects in computer graphics, game development, or related areas.
Good understanding of game engine concepts such as geometry, materials/shaders, scene management, and actors/components.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across different teams.
Fluent English.
Nice to Have
Experience with Linux and Android app development.
Experience in simulation, automotive, robotics, or safety-critical real-time systems.
Experience with performance optimization in real-time engine environments, experience with networking.
