Our client is working on an ambitious mobile game based on one of the world’s leading IPs and is looking for a Senior Environment Artist to help create vibrant, immersive, and memorable game worlds. This is a great opportunity for an experienced 3D Environment Artist who enjoys building high-quality environments, understands the full mobile art pipeline, and wants to contribute to a creative, collaborative game development team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create high-quality 3D environment assets, including modeling, baking, texturing, LODs, and importing assets into the engine.
Maintain visual, artistic, and design consistency across the game world.
Work closely with the Environment Lead and Art Director to deliver assets that meet the required quality bar.
Execute assigned tasks according to the production schedule while maintaining quality expectations.
Support the team by exploring, testing, and sharing new methods to achieve the target visual quality.
Contribute to building immersive, polished, and engaging environments for a mobile game.
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of experience as a 3D Environment Artist in game development.
Strong artistic vision and a representative portfolio showcasing environment art work.
Experience working with Unity.
Experience developing art assets for mobile platforms.
Excellent understanding of the full environment creation pipeline for mobile games.
Strong experience with Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
Strong experience with Substance Painter, ZBrush, and Photoshop.
Good understanding of PBR workflows.
English and Russian at upper-intermediate level or higher.
NICE TO HAVE
Understanding of Unity tools such as Lightmaps, Light Probes, and Reflection Probes.
Experience with task tracking tools such as ShotGrid, Hansoft, Redmine, or similar.
At least one shipped AAA title on console or mobile.
