Senior Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced and well-connected Senior Business Development Manager to join our international team at 8Bit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the game development industry, with at least 3 years of commercial experience, and a proven track record of establishing and maintaining relationships with key industry players.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive growth and increase revenue.
  • Identify new business opportunities by leveraging industry connections and conducting market research.
  • Establish, maintain, and expand relationships with key decision-makers within the gamedev industry, including game developers, publishers, and related technology partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop new client relationships.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and workshops to stay informed on the latest trends.
  • Regularly report on business development activities, market trends, and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial experience in game development. industry, with a strong understanding of its landscape, trends, and key players.
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management within the gamedev sector.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain lasting professional connections.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales tools, as well as Google Workspace applications.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
  • Existing network of contacts within the game development industry, particularly among developers, publishers, and technology partners.
