Responsibilities
Work closely with Sound Designers and the Technical Sound Designer to design, prototype, and implement new audio and music features
Support debugging and optimization of audio and music systems and features
Collaborate with other Audio Programmers to implement runtime audio systems, features, and supporting workflows
Partner with design, engineering, and audio team members to improve existing audio and music tools in line with project needs
Contribute to cross-team audio tools and runtime development, helping push the boundaries of game audio on the project
Create documentation and share best practices, technical limitations, and workflows with the wider team
Follow coding standards and engineering best practices established by the studio
Support additional programming tasks as needed
Take a proactive and forward-thinking approach to problem-solving and implementation
Requirements
Strong proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine
Experience working with Audiokinetic Wwise
Proven track record of contributing to successfully delivered projects
Open-minded attitude and willingness to learn
Excellent communication skills and fluent English
