Our client is seeking a research leader to build, scale, and own their player insights function. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of game studios, players, and technology, where your expertise will directly shape product and business outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and lead the end-to-end game user research function (frameworks, methodologies, team structure)
Conduct and oversee qualitative and quantitative research (surveys, playtests, interviews, usability studies)
Lead, coach, and grow the internal research team, defining standards and nurturing talent
Collaborate with Sales and BD teams on pre-sales research conversations and proposals
Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to embed research across the development lifecycle
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years in game user research or related roles
Strong knowledge of player behavior, user psychology, and game development processes
Hands-on experience with both qualitative and quantitative methods
Proven leadership or mentoring experience
Organized, proactive, and thrives in a remote, fast-paced environment
