Our client, a growing mobile‑gaming studio is looking for a Senior .NET Backend Developer to join their team and help build a new Puzzle RPG – part of a larger, high‑ambition project based on a major IP. You’ll have a central role in shaping backend architecture, ensuring performance and reliability, and enabling the team to deliver a high‑quality mobile experience.
Responsibilities
Architect, develop and maintain backend services using C# for a mobile RPG.
Work on network programming and build systems designed for high performance, low latency and high availability.
Use and manage infrastructure including databases (SQL / NoSQL), caching (e.g. Redis), and cloud services (AWS).
Containerize and orchestrate services using Docker and Kubernetes (or similar technologies).
Collaborate closely with other developers, designers and product stakeholders.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical team members; participate in cross-functional planning and decision making.
Requirements
At least 7 years of professional experience in software development with .NET and C#.
2-3 years of experience in the games industry, ideally working on gameplay systems, live game features, or other game-related logic.
Solid understanding of SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, and Design Patterns, and know how to apply them.
Proven experience designing and developing advanced business logic, such as RPG mechanics, progression systems, or in-game economies.
Hands-on experience working with persistence layers and caching solutions from an application logic perspective.
Understanding the performance impact of your code and know how to use profiling tools to identify and address bottlenecks in game logic.
You value Unit Testing and Integration Testing
Strong soft skills.
Fluency in English.
