The studio is seeking a LiveOps / Retention Manager to take ownership of the full player lifecycle — from pre-alpha through global launch and beyond. This person will be responsible for designing in-game events, optimizing retention systems, gathering player feedback during all testing phases, and collaborating closely with marketing to align LiveOps and rollout schedules.
Responsibilities:
Design and manage in-game events, seasonal content, and retention systems
Monitor and improve key player engagement metrics such as D1, D7, D30, LTV, and churn
Gather and analyze player feedback during pre-alpha, beta, and live phases
Coordinate closely with marketing on launch and LiveOps planning
Develop segmentation and personalization strategies to improve engagement
Support post-launch initiatives including game balancing, updates, and player communication
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in LiveOps, retention, or game product management
Proven track record in managing early-stage game launches and feedback loops
Strong analytical skills and experience with tools such as Amplitude, Tableau, or Looker
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including product, design, and marketing
Bonus: Experience working in F2P or hybrid monetization environments
