We’re looking for an experienced Environment Artist who can bring game worlds to life by assembling buildings, landscapes, and mission layouts that balance strong visual storytelling with engaging gameplay design. This position blends art and level design and is perfect for someone who enjoys shaping spaces that look stunning and play intuitively.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and assemble high-quality environments and level layouts using modular assets and terrain elements
Collaborate closely with mission and level designers to create gameplay-driven spaces that enhance flow, pacing, and player experience
Customize and refine layouts to meet visual and gameplay goals across multiple missions
Ensure each environment tells a story, balancing realism and readability
Work iteratively in a fast-paced, collaborative setting, actively contributing ideas to improve tools, workflow, and overall quality
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of experience as an Environment Artist in game development
Strong understanding of composition, scale, and environmental storytelling
Proficiency in environment assembly, layout design, and scene optimization
Familiarity with Unreal Engine 4
Ability to work efficiently with procedural or modular systems
