RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead, coordinate, and align diverse engineering functions.
Provide feedback and participate in reviews and performance management.
Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and relevant third parties.
Engage in hands-on coding to keep engineering skills sharp.
Support interdepartmental cooperation for product and feature releases, updates, and patches.
Create and oversee project timelines and milestones to improve sustainability and efficiency.
Ensure alignment and clear communication across product, quality assurance, testing, and R&D departments.
REQUIREMENTS:
8+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead in a fast-paced tech or start-up environment.
Experience with iOS tech
Proven ability to manage and build diverse teams, fostering consensus and understanding.
Effective communicator, able to convey technical information to non-technical employees and stakeholders.
Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented, promoting structure and confidence.
Skilled in drawing out individual and team productivity.
Deep hands-on engineering experience in UI work or custom rendering technology.
Creative and strategic approach to product development, adept at solving unique technical problems.
Willingness to relocate to Hobart, Australia
