DevOps Engineer

Description

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, availability, and reliability of the platform. Working closely with development teams, this role focuses on maintaining and evolving cloud infrastructure while supporting justtrack’s ambitious growth plans. The position combines hands-on infrastructure work, observability, automation, and collaboration across engineering teams in a modern, cloud-native environment. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage, operate, and continuously improve cloud infrastructure, including Kubernetes clusters, databases, monitoring systems, and deployment workflows
  • Ensure full system observability by designing and maintaining metrics, alerts, and logging solutions
  • Integrate new cloud-native technologies into existing platforms and services
  • Design and maintain scalable, reusable Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) patterns to support a growing number of services and developers
  • Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enable fast, reliable, and frequent deployments
  • Collaborate closely with engineers from diverse technical backgrounds, actively participating in knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
  • Work daily with a modern stack including Kubernetes, Helm, GitOps (Argo), Prometheus/Mimir, Grafana, Spark, Golang, and AWS.

Requirements 

  • Around 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles
  • Strong practical experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps workflows (Argo)
  • Solid understanding of AWS services (e.g. IAM, EC2, CloudWatch)
  • Experience provisioning infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Terragrunt, and/or Crossplane)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems and building pipelines for fast-paced environments (e.g. GitLab CI)
  • Ability to interpret system metrics, define meaningful alerts, and build clear, actionable dashboards
  • Fundamental knowledge of databases, both SQL and NoSQL

Nice to have 

  • Hands-on experience with Golang, or a strong willingness to learn
