You will play a pivotal role in bringing life and movement to the characters filling our procedurally generated environments.

You’ll join an experienced team known for highly ambitious, emotionally impactful shooters grounded in real-world scenarios.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build animation solutions that deliver smooth, responsive results while balancing performance, memory usage, scalability, and cross-platform requirements.
  • Partner with other engineering teams to integrate physics-based animation systems and simulations, such as cloth, hair, and physics-driven interactions, to enhance realism and immersion.
  • Create, maintain, and improve animation systems using tools such as Animation Blueprints, Montages, Blend Spaces, and related Unreal features.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve animation-related issues, bugs, and technical challenges through testing and iteration.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in the video game industry.
  • Strong Unreal Engine expertise and solid C++ programming skills.
  • Deep understanding of animation principles and real-time animation workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with animation systems, including state machines and animation graphs.
  • Familiarity with physics-based animation techniques and simulations.
  • Proven ability to optimize animation systems for performance.
  • Experience with Unreal animation systems and Gameplay Ability System is a strong advantage.

WHAT THEY OFFER

  • A hybrid culture, remote-friendly team spread across several countries, with the option to work on-site if desired.
  • Flexible PTO with trust-based scheduling.
  • Comprehensive benefits package (for applicable regions).
  • Profit-sharing once the game ships – the team earns when the game earns.
