We’re looking for a freelance 3D Character Artist to join a small, passionate team working on a turn-based mobile game. This is a part-time, remote role with plenty of creative ownership and direct collaboration with the founder. RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and create stylized 3D characters inspired by Warcraft/DnD aesthetics for a turn-based mobile game
Collaborate directly with the Art Director to ensure visual consistency and style
Take ownership of the entire character creation process – from modeling to preparing for animation
Ensure characters are technically sound and ready for implementation in Unity
Maintain a clean and efficient character art pipeline suitable for mobile performance
REQUIREMENTS
Strong proficiency in Unity and Blender or Maya
Solid understanding of the 3D character pipeline for games
Rigging knowledge and a good grasp of animation principles
Strong sense of stylization, anatomy, and appeal in character design
Comfortable working independently in a small, fast-paced team
Experience working on mobile games
Stylized 3D character art portfolio
