Gamedev Events Q4 2025: Meet 8Bit Team on the Road

The 8Bit gamedev events Q4 2025 calendar is officially packed – and we couldn’t be more excited!

As this year comes to an end, we’re hitting the road again to take part in some of the most inspiring game industry gatherings across Europe. These events aren’t just about panels or booths; they’re about connection, conversation, and building bridges between studios and talent. Every stop on our journey brings new insights into how recruitment in game development evolves – and we’re eager to share what we’ve learned.

Game Industry Conference in Poznań, Poland

Our first destination in the 8Bit gamedev events Q4 2025 lineup is the Game Industry Conference in Poznań (October 23–26).

For anyone involved in the Polish or Central European gamedev scene, GIC is an unmissable event. It’s where creative minds, studio leads, and tech innovators meet, and this year, our CEO Monika Michalak will be on stage with her talk “Unpaid & Uncertain. What to Do When Your Studio Stops Paying You”.

Based on real cases, Monika’s session (🗓 Friday, October 24th, 5:00 PM) will walk you through specific steps freelancers, contractors, and full-time employees can take when contracts or employers fail to deliver on payments.

On Saturday morning, Monika, together with Michalina Daszkiewicz representing Anshar Studios Inc., will be co-hosting HR Table during the Women in Games Day Breakfast (sponsored by Anshar Studios Inc.) – they’ll be there not only to connect and chat over coffee, but also to offer CV consultations for anyone looking to get personalized career tips!

She’ll also be available for conversations about scaling teams and building smarter hiring strategies for 2026.

DevGAMM Lisbon 2025

Next up in the 8Bit gamedev events Q4 2025 tour is DevGAMM Lisbon (November 6–7).

This event blends energy, knowledge, and genuine industry spirit. Alongside Monika, our Senior Recruiters Ljubica Garic and Hanna Sakharova will host a workshop titled “Boost Your Gamedev CV.”

They’ll share hands-on tips from reviewing thousands of applications, helping attendees stand out in the competitive gamedev job market.

Games Ground Berlin 2025

We’ll wrap up the 8Bit gamedev events Q4 2025 circuit in Berlin, at Games Ground (November 13–16).
