VFX Artist

Inferno Studios is seeking talented and experienced VFX Artists (Intern > Principal) to join its team. This is a speculative job posting so all experience levels and locations will be considered abd assessed on a case by case basis and be added into our talent pipeline for future openings where appropriate.

Desirable Skills/ Attributes:

Ability to create and collaborate on high quality, optimized VFX assets across a range of projects with different technical requirements.
A solution focussed mindset, problem solving technical and artistic challenges relating to VFX production and integration.
Actively keep up to date with emerging tools and workflows in real-time VFX.
Clear and professional communication skills paired with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
A willingness to learn new tools/ processes and an open-minded approach to development and VFX creation workflows.
Showcase an impressive portfolio demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of real-time VFX production.
Have a solid understanding of art fundamentals, including colour theory, timing, and composition.
Proficient using Blender, Photoshop, Substance Designer, Houdini and EmberGen/ Illugen to create VFX work.
Strong working knowledge and experience using Unreal Engine (including in-depth knowledge of Niagara, Blueprints & Optimisation).
Strong working knowledge and experience using Unity (including in-depth knowledge of Shuriken and VFX Graph workflows).
Proficient in workflows used to create both realistic and stylized VFX.
Previous experience using proprietary tech/ engines is a plus but not essential.
