What You’ll Do:
- Development of internal projects as well as co-development on AAA titles on multiple platforms using latest Unreal Engine technologies.
- Support and guide art teams in providing optimized assets (models and materials) for our games.
- Design, implement and maintain efficient content creation pipelines, ensuring smooth asset flow from digital content creation (DCC) tools (like Maya, Blender) into the game engine.
- Analyze art content to identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to ensure the game meets framerate and memory targets.
- Investigate new technologies, rendering features and create prototypes to evaluate their feasibility for production.
What You Must Bring:
- Experience in C++ programming with experience in Unreal Engine.
- Experience in Python programming to create custom DCC’s tools.
- Understanding of common and good practices for game content creation (vertex count, texture unit count etc.).
- Understanding of how CPU and GPU work from a game’s performance point of view.
- Experience working with and optimizing Unreal Engine materials.
- Experience working with Unreal Engine’s Niagara.
- Familiarity with asset pipelines and art content validation.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues related to art assets and engine integration.
- Experience working with consoles (Playstation, XBox etc.) is a plus.
- Experience with any shading language (HLSL, GLSL, MSL) is a plus.
- Experience in working with Houdini and other DCCs is a plus.
- Experience in working with PCG is a plus.
- Effective communication skills and proficiency in English for our international projects.
