What You’ll Do:

• Reverse-engineer and navigate an inherited Unreal Engine codebase to diagnose, debug, and resolve complex crashes, memory leaks, and race conditions within underlying subsystems.
• Implement clever solutions to improve performance and resolve issues in core systems such as saves and audio.
• Use Unreal Engine’s tools to identify bottlenecks and troubleshoot issues across different hardware configurations, including console targets.

What You Must Bring:

• Proven console experience, including console porting work.
• Strong proficiency in C++ with hands-on Unreal Engine experience.
• Senior level expertise navigating and debugging large, inherited codebases.
• Solid understanding of memory management, concurrency issues, and CPU/GPU performance profiling and debugging tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a performance-oriented mindset.
• Effective communication skills and proficiency in English.
• Nice to have: prior Tech Lead experience, ideally on a porting project.
• Optimization experience is a bonus, though not required.
