QA Engineer (Engine)
With multiple awards to our name, Larian Studios has proven that we’re dedicated to delivering high-quality role-playing games. As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a QA Engineer to focus on the low-level code of the Engine department.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in programming and/or scripting
- Experience working with Game Engines
- Experience with Perforce or other version control systems
- Good judgment in estimating the significance and consequences of the bugs
- Rigorous and methodical, autonomous and resourceful approach
- You are responsible, self-disciplined, and have good self-learning skills
- Good communication skills in spoken/written English (must have a resume in English)
- Passion for video games
- Desire to continue to work in QA
- This is a full-time, on-site role, requiring your presence in the office to support collaboration and creativity.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all kinds of manual testing (regression, integration, etc.)
- Closely assist the programming team with testing specific changes before the code is submitted to the main developer branches
- Write new and maintain existing automated tests
- Follow priorities given by the QA Lead to ensure current team-wide goals are met.
- Test and help improve our production pipelines and tools.
- First line of support for the production team with regard to any technical issues.
