Narrative Designer (Frostpunk 1886)
Your responsibilities:
- Designing, writing and implementing story arcs,
- Finding interesting ways to communicate outside the usual dialogue format,
- Finding new ways to tell meaningful stories by using unusual channels,
- Taking responsibility for the game’s narrative layer:
- ensuring that the story supports the main themes in the game,
- creating story arcs that support main themes,
- working with other designers to ensure a coherent world, both on system and narrative side,
- owning the story bible and narrative vision for the project,
- working closely with project leads to ensure that project changes are reflected in the story.
Requirements:
- Being based in, or open to relocate to Warsaw (there is no possibility to work remotely for this role),
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar position,
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine and Unreal Blueprints OR other engine (Unity, inhouse),
- English proficiency (C2 level),
- Excellent writing skills.
