Lead DevOps Engineer

Your main responsibilities:

  • Leading, mentoring, and managing a small team of DevOps engineers, fostering collaboration, setting clear goals, and providing guidance.
  • Maintaining smooth information flow and cooperation between game development teams, DevOps and IT.
  • Developing and executing DevOps strategies aligned with organizational goals, improving efficiency, and reducing production bottlenecks.
  • Ensuring stable functioning and continuous improvement of automation scripts, build engineering, supportive services and internally hosted services (like Perforce).

Things we’re looking for:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a DevOps position, preferably in a game development environment.
  • Experience in project management, team coordination or a leadership position.
  • Professional experience with automation, build engineering, coding, data management, infrastructure management, and/or online service management.
  • Professional experience with continuous integration/delivery systems.
  • Solid professional understanding of Python.
  • Experience with compiling and deploying game builds (preferably using Unreal Engine).
  • Deep knowledge of at least one version control system, preferably Perforce.
  • Experience with Ansible or similar deployment and automation tools.
  • Experience working with Docker.
  • Experience with Grafana, Prometheus or any other monitoring tool.
  • Very good communication skills.
  • Fluent English.
