DevOps Engineer (DevOps)
11 bit studios is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their team in Warsaw, Poland!
Your responsibilities:
- Maintenance and improvement of the build system and its performance;
- Code compilation and integration;
- Optimizing pipelines, processes & automation;
- Working closely with the development team to integrate new deployment processes;
- Maintaining source control branches;
- Providing Perforce support for the team;
- Creating and maintaining documentation of the build/release process;
- Building, developing, setting up and integrating infrastructure and tools;
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes;
- Analysis of the game’s production process to understand areas where automation can be used to improve pipelines and workflows.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in our Warsaw office in hybrid model – at least 3 days in the office;
- Minimum 2 years of commercial experience in the area of programming/development;
- Knowledge & experience in working with C# and Python;
- If you know C++ instead of the two languages above, that’s fine too!
- Knowledge of English & Polish language (both at least B2 level);
- Knowledge of WLAN & LAN and how the network works;
- Knowledge of version control tools (we use Perforce);
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (we use Horde and Teamcity);
- The ability to effectively manage your own time and prioritize tasks in a dynamic;
- A mindset focused on supporting other departments (an “internal client” approach) and understanding their needs (e.g., supporting Artists, Design);
- A focus on collaboration and finding common ground.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine;
- Knowledge of containerization tools (we use Docker);
- Familiarity with tools for automated build environments (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform or other similar);
- Familiarity with game development.
