Audio Designer
People Can Fly team is looking for an Audio Designer to join their team in Canada.
Responsabilities
- As a Sound Design specialist, you will be one of the main driving forces in creating inspiring & original audio content
- To design, create, edit, convert, implement and manage large volumes of audio content
- In close collaboration with the Audio leadership, you will define key elements of the overall audio vision of the game
- Participate in the refinement of the production specifications & timeline estimates supporting all audio-related content
- Collaborating with all other teams, you will advocate & facilitate audio contributions within gameplay mechanics, systems & gameplay realization intentions
- Participate in the definition of technical guidelines for audio content creation and its implementation
- Work with the production team and your lead on mixing knowledge and consistent deliverables
- Collaborating with artists, designers, and other disciplines to create excellent and coherent sound quality
Qualifications
- 3 years in Sound Design & Audio Production for any relevant media / industry
- High sound design skills & creative expression. Demonstrable artistic preferences & signature in the audio creation approach
- Extensive knowledge of Wwise audio authoring tool workflow & practices, especially for structure creation, optimization & maintenance
- Understanding of node-base system’s principles (BluePrint)
- Strong experience in multiple DAWs, with a specific interest/comfort in Reaper
- Content Sound Design experience in multi-channel formats
- Knowledge & interest in the latest audio-related technologies & rendering formats (multi-channel, object-based, ambisonics,binaural)
- Interest in learning scripting and implementing sounds yourself in the engine
